How well do you know your next-door neighbors?
I don't know them at all, having just moved a month ago. But then again, I've never known my neighbors very well, anywhere I've lived since college. I knew our neighbors about a block away at the last place, but then they were already friends who helped us find the place to begin with. I was very good friends with all the surrounding neighbors in my college dorm. Of course, we all used to keep our doors open then, and we played euchre and Magic the Gathering in the hallways then.
